THIRU M.BHAKTAVATSALAM PRIZES:

            Out of a sum of Rs 250/- donated every year by the Bhaktavatsalam Shashtiapthapoorthi Committee, prizes are awarded to the best student in each considering his overall proficiency, attendance, conduct and performance in extra-curricular activities.

THIRU O.V.ALAGESAN PRIZES:

           A set of prizes are being awarded to students securing high aggregate marks in various diploma examinations held by the Board examinations. Also special prizes are awarded to students outstanding in general proficiency and extra curricular activities.

BHAKTAVATSALAM POLYTECHNIC SILVER JUBILEE FOUNDER’S DAY COMMEMORATION PRIZES:

            The Founder, Thiru O.V.ALAGESAN has deposited a sum of Rs 800/- in KCBB Ltd to give prizes from the accrued interest for final year

Best students in each discipline taking the Vth and VI semester marks.

            Thiru S.VENKATESAN, Sr.Lect/Mech (late) had deposited a sum of Rs 2000/-. From the accrued interest first and second prizes are given to top rankers in First year Technical Drawing.

             Our old student, naval cadet SIVAKUMAR has deposited Rs. 1000/-. The accrued interest is being utilized for giving prizes to the best Naval cadets.

           NCC scholarship holders of the year 2002-2003 of the Army Wing have deposited Rs 2000/- Form the accrued interest prizes are awarded to the best firing cadets of the Army Wing NCC Cadets.

            Miss D.VASUKITHAI, Sr.Lecturer/English has instituted an endowment of Rs5000/- in memory of her father K.R.DURAIRAJ to prize the toppers in English.

RAJARAM PRIZES:

           It is praiseworthy that seven of our old students, A.Kuppusamy, B.Ramanathan, Jayaraman, D.Mathivanan and H.Venkataraman have donated a sum of Rs 1000/-, the interest of which is being utilized to give prize to the best student in Mechanical Engg. This gesture is in memory of their respectful Lecturer Thiru L.R.RAJARAM who expired in accident in Feb. 1983.
